“Pricing obviously is an important aspect, but Cyso also wanted fewer suppliers in order to reduce the maintenance costs. Registries frequently change their specifications. For example, very recently SIDN (the .nl registry) introduced the DRS5 system. That change was handled flawlessly by Realtime Register. It saved us many weeks of development work. With the small margins on domain names, that is a significant saving. A single point of contact is key for us.”

Domain migration
“It's a good thing that I remember little about the migration process. The short communication lines between us and Realtime Register proved to be very effective. Realtime Register presented us with a clear and step-by-step plan to migrate our more than 4000 .nl domains to their system. In fact, the hardest part was getting the Chamber of Commerce extracts, so SIDN could verify (and rightly so) that the person signing was authorized to start migrating our registrar account. After we sent Realtime Register all required information, they did all the work and there was little left for us to do.”

Products and services
“I would describe the products and services offered by Realtime Register as very good. Since 1997 Cyso has seen a lot of vendors come and go. Customers expect quality and fast response times from us. Unfortunately many suppliers, both large and small, could not meet our expectations though Realtime Register exceeded our expectations! If there is a issue, a phone call to the service desk (speaking English as well as Dutch) is sufficient to solve it. I expect that we will be working with Realtime Register for many years to come.”
